ProHelp® EPM - Exporting a report runs forever....


The information in this FAQ applies to the following:

  • ProHelp® EPM, Releases 6.2.0, 6.1.0, 6.0.0

  • ProHelp® EPM, Releases 5.2.2, 5.2.1, 5.2.0, 5.1.0, 5.0.0


When exporting a report in ProHelp® EPM, the report seems to run forever. The problem is caused when you delete the Delimiter in the Export Dialog. The actual cause of the problem is a bug in Seagate Software's Crystal Reports, which is used to generate ProHelp® EPM's System Reports.

To resolve this problem, replace version 7 of the file ..\ProHelp\Dll\u2fsepv.dll with an older version 6 of the same file. Reboot your system to ensure your changes take effect.
