ProHelp® EPM - Report won't display more than 500 records....

The information in this FAQ applies to the following:

  • ProHelp® EPM, Releases 6.2.0, 6.1.0, 6.0.0

  • ProHelp® EPM, Releases 5.2.2, 5.2.1, 5.2.0, 5.1.0, 5.0.0

Crystal Reports has the ability to limit the amount of data that can be selected when a report is generated. This can be useful when creating a new report. However, if a customer has a developer's version of Crystal Reports loaded on their system, this can incorrectly limit the amount of data that is displayed in a legitimate ProHelp® EPM report.

This problem is due to a registry entry being modified from the default value. To modify this value, follow these steps:

  • Click on the Start menu, select Run, enter regedit and press OK. The Registry Editor will be displayed.

  • Open the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - Software - Seagate Software - Crystal Reports - Database Server - key.

  • Set the value for ReadMaxRows to No.

  • Click on the Registry menu and select Exit.

Note: It is possible that this registry entry may have been set by some software program to prevent queries from running too long or out of control.

For additional information, reference the documentation that came with Crystal Reports.
