LOVELAND, OHIO, June 10, 2005 - Mattec Corporation, the world's leading supplier of real-time production and process monitoring systems and cavity pressure control systems for selected industries, has announced the following enhancements to its cavity pressure control software:

• Start/End Contacts - Discreet digital signals may be connected to indicate when cavity pressure monitoring should start or end.
• Automatic Zeroing - Uesful when transferring the machine using hydraulic pressure (instead of cavity pressure), the automatic zero feature automatically recalibrates the sensor each machine cycle to account for drift.
• Enhanced Part Qualification - Allows the user to transfer the machine using one cavity pressure transducer and automatically determine if a good or bad part was made using other sensors, including additional cavity pressure transducers. Scrap parts can be automatically entered into the system and the plant-wide Job Schedule will be updated in real-time.
• Sensor-specific Calibration - Allows calibration data to be stored for each specific cavity pressure transducer without needing to recalibrate the sensor when it is moved in and out of the machine (with the mold). Sensors do not need to be sent to Mattec annually for recalibration and may be recalibrated by your maintenance personnel.
• Bigger Numbers - The cavity pressure transfer software is now capable of monitoring much larger numbers, expanding the functionality for things like "area under the curve" monitoring.

Cavity Pressure Control is an optional feature that can be added to Mattec's ProHelp® EPM software. The feature adds about $3,000 (*) to the price of a ProHelp® EPM system, excluding the cost for sensors.
