ProHelp® EPM - Solarsoft Integration

Mattec's parent company, Solarsoft Business Systems (formerly CMS Software), is a leading provider of ERP software for manufacturing, distribution, wholesale and merchants. Mattec's ProHelp® EPM software can now be tightly integrated with Solarsoft's IBM-based (i5) and Microsoft-based (m5) ERP solutions.

Data Synchronization (Solarsoft to Mattec)

The Solarsoft system will automatically send master files and configuration files directly into the ProHelp® EPM database. This synchronization can be run manually or can be schedule to run automatically. This synchronization includes the following:

  • Work Orders (Jobs), including family jobs

  • Job Schedules (Repetitive)

  • Process Sheets

  • Part IDs

  • Tool IDs

  • Material Codes

  • Scrap Codes (Configuration data)

  • Downtime Codes (Configuration data)

Event Based Interface (Mattec to Solarsoft)

ProHelp® EPM can send the status of machines and jobs on the shop-floor in real-time to Solarsoft via the Event Based interface. This interface can be enabled on a machine-by-machine basis. This interface allows the Solarsoft software to be updated in real-time with what's happening on the shop-floor, and it includes the following Solarsoft event codes:

  • 10001 - Shift out and continue

  • 10050 - Set schedule to setup

  • 10100 - Set schedule to down (or idle)

  • 10101 - Resume production

  • 10150 - Set schedule to run

  • 11001 - Close work order (job)

  • 20000 - Employee login and attach

  • 20001 - Employee login general

  • 20009 - Employee logout

  • 40000 - Standard pack, including barcode print request

  • 41000 - Scrap reporting

Batch Interface (Mattec to Solarsoft)

ProHelp® EPM can send job production information to Solarsoft via the "batch" interface. This interface can be scheduled to run automatically and can be enabled on a machine-by-machine basis. The information that is passed via the batch interface can be posted automatically, or you can review this information once per shift, then manually post the data. This interface includes the following production information:

  • Downtime

  • Good Production

  • Scrap Production
