Most MIUs allow machine operators (and other users) to login and logout at the MIU. The system records the date/time of these events and this information is available in the Operator Login Report.

An unlimited number of users may login for Operator Efficiency and an unlimited number of users may login for Operator Tracking, per machine.

The TSMIU will display up to 15 operators who are currently logged in to the MIU, regardless of whether those logins were for Operator Efficiency or Operator Tracking.

When a user logs in for Operator Efficiency, performance information is automatically collected by the system. The system records the percent down, percent scrap, percent of machine cycles that are out-of-specification, yield efficiency, and much, much more. This information is available in the Operator Efficiency Report.

When a user logs in for Operator Efficiency, the login and performance information for the entire plant can be seen in real-time on the Real-Time Display. Users can easily configure their own displays using the Real-Time Display writer.

Operators can be automatically logged out at shift change, if desired.

Operator Login/Logout data is available for export to external time-tracking systems in the optional Data Import/Export program.
