When used as the interface for one machine, the software is referred to as a "PCMIU". When used as the interface for two or more machines, the software is referred to as a "Cell Controller". In fact, the software is capable of displaying data for "cells" as large as 60 machines.

When viewing multiple machines, the Machine Selection Display is actually a color-coded Real-Time Display for the machines that are being monitored.

Mattec's PCMIU application has the following benefits:

• A machine can exist in several PCMIU "cells", thereby allowing multiple operators to view/enter data for the same machine.
