The PCMIU, also known as the Cell Controller, is a software-only program that provides a user interface for the machine operator. The interface is virtually identical to the TSMIU interface. The PCMIU software runs on Microsoft Windows, uses standard Ethernet or wireless connections, and can be used with a touch-screen PC or with a standard desktop PC. Users may call for help, select the current downtime reason, enter scrap parts, login, perform machine or tool maintenance, etc.
