Japanese Language Support Now Shipping

Touchscreen Calibration
Mattec has implemented a 3+1 point calibration algorithm in the TSMIU. This algorithm dramatically improves the calibration for the touchscreen MIU and is available as an update to every TSMIU that Mattec has implemented since 1995. Maintenance customers should contact the Mattec Customer Service Department for additional information.

Publish Real-Time Displays to your Intranet
ProHelp® EPM, Release 7.5, allows you to publish any Real-Time Display to your Intranet server via our Data Import/Export option. This enhancement allows you to view a Real-Time Display via any supported web browser, including Internet Explorer. Users can easily create their own custom Real-Time Displays using any of the more than 500 fields that are available in the Real-Time Display Writer. Displays can be published to your Intranet server automatically and as frequently as you'd like.

Introducing the Pocket PCMIU
The Pocket PCMIU is an optional feature that is available in ProHelp® EPM, Release 7.5. It takes a familiar interface (the PCMIU) and improves it... by making it much smaller. The result is an easy-to-use interface that allows the user to enter scrap, select downtime reasons, call for help, and much, much more. The Pocket PCMIU is just one more example of the open architecture that ProHelp® EPM is built on.

XKO Software Ltd. and CMS Software, Inc. have renamed their merged operations Solarsoft Business Systems. Solarsoft provides ERP solutions for manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, and merchants. Mattec will continue to operate as a stand-alone enterprise with it's existing name and management.

CMS User Conference
Join Mattec at the CMS User Conference in Niagara Falls, Canada, September 16 - 18, 2007. This conference will be ideal for Mattec customers who are investigating ERP solutions from CMS or who want to learn about the latest features in ProHelp® EPM.

This year’s conference is being held at the elegant and historic Brock Plaza in the heart of downtown Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. The Brock Plaza is part of a complex that includes Casino Niagara, restaurants such as The Hard Rock Café and Planet Hollywood, an Indoor Water Park, and shopping.

Modbus PLC Interface Now Shipping
An optional Modbus PLC interface is now available for the TSMIU. This interface allows the MIU to collect data from up to 30 sensors/devices, in additional to standard cycle time monitoring. A PLC Interface for the Siemens 505 PLC is currently being developed.

TSMIU 750-A600, Revision G, Now Shipping
TSMIU 750-A600 is a version of the TSMIU that runs on both ProHelp® EPM and ProHelp® Millennium. Revision G adds support for the Portuguese language, supports a large number of PLC Interfaces, and contains minor enhancements and bug fixes. Revision G contains bug fixes and the enhancements that were present in Revision F.

Release 5.2.2 of ProHelp® EPM is now shipping. This release is a maintenance release for customers who are on versions of ProHelp® EPM that are older than Release 6.0.0. Any existing ProHelp® EPM customer who is not currently on Release 6.0.0 will need to upgrade to this release before upgrading to ProHelp® EPM, Release 6.1.0.
