- Family Molding Option - This
optional feature improves on the Family Molding feature that has been present in ProHelp®
Millennium and earlier ProHelp® systems since the 1980s, and it works with all MIUs ever
developed by Mattec Corporation.
- Cavity Pressure Transfer Option - Mattec
first introduced its Cavity Pressure Transfer option in 1998. We've been quietly
gaining market share ever since. Today, Mattec has more MIUs installed
that are capable of performing cavity pressure transfer than competitors who
focus solely on cavity pressure monitoring!
- Real-Time Display - A
new style of Real-Time Display is available with this release. Users can easily create their
own displays using the Real-Time Display Writer.
- Job Scheduler - Mattec's most
advanced Job Scheduler ever is available with this release. Tool Conflicts
are automatically highlighted and resolved interactively from within
the Job Schedule. Mattec's unique Gantt-In-Gantt Job
Schedule allows you to double-click on the family job to see a Gantt
chart for the individual son jobs in that family job. You can then
drag and drop the individual son jobs in order to
schedule them in a manner that will allow each son job to finish on-time.
- System Reports - Every report in the system has been modified
to closely resemble many of the reports in ProHelp® Millennium. Users
can now easily create their own reports (or modify existing reports) and integrate
them into the system. Reports can easily be emailed to other users or exported
for use in Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word.
- Operator Efficiency and Operator Tracking - An
unlimited number of users may log in to each machine for Operator Efficiency or Operator Tracking.
Performance information for Operator Efficiency users who are currently logged in may
be seen in real-time on the Real-Time Display.
- Cost Manager - The Cost Manager option allows managers to view scrap and downtime costs for all jobs from
the Real-Time Display.
- Cycle Time Predictor Limit and Scrap Predictor Limit - These limits
are configurable by the user and minimize the effects of extreme cycle times
and scrap rates, respectively, on predicted job end dates.
- Help Call Log - The Help Call Log will record an event when the machine
operator calls for help from the MIU and this information is available in
the Help Log Report.
- Setup Sheets - Existing setup sheets that are available in the Process
Sheet, SQC Sample Sheet, Machine Configuration, and elsewhere have been expanded to
80 characters wide by 99 pages long. These setup sheets can be viewed for
the currently-running job and the next scheduled job(s) at the TSMIU.
- Job Suspend - This feature allows you to temporarily stop running
the current job in order to run a "hot" job. The job that was suspended may
then be restarted later.
- End-Of-Job Warning and Alert - The time for the end-of-job warning
and alert are user-configurable. These alert the user (e.g., Tool change
personnel) to jobs that will end "soon". One value causes the "Hours To Go"
field on the Real-Time Display to turn yellow (warning), the other causes the field to turn
red (alert).
For example, you can configure the system to turn the "Hours To Go"
field YELLOW when the job is 60 minutes from being finished and to turn the "Hours To Go"
field RED when the job is 30 minutes from being finished. This alerts Tool
Change personnel and Material Setup personnel to future job changes and can
dramatically reduce machine downtime.
- Attribute SQC Entry at the MIU - Quality Control personnel may now
enter Attribute SQC samples from all MIUs that support this feature.
- Non-Production Limit - The non-production limit is now stored in
the Process Sheet and is user-configurable.
